ETL Import
Purpose-built for migrating historical data from legacy municipal systems. Upload CSV or Excel files, preview data, and configure field mappings between source columns and MuniNow target tables. Validation rules check data types, required fields, referential integrity, and business rules before import. Error reports detail every failed row with the specific validation failure. Import jobs track status through created → mapping → validating → importing → completed/failed. Mappings can be saved and reused for recurring imports from the same source format. Common migrations include chart of accounts, utility billing accounts, permit history, employee records, and parcel data.
